The most famous dogs on TV
In today's entry, we are going to do a brief review of the most famous dogs that have appeared on the small screen, both those that have been an essential part of television series and the protagonists of advertisements; All of them have captivated us in one way or another.
We start the list with Pancho , the lottery dog. Who doesn't remember this little Jack Russell Terrier that starred in lottery advertisements, playing the role of a millionaire dog? Cook (it was his real name) was also one of the protagonists of the TV series “No one lives here” and “Los Serrano”. The series “ Babues ” recently premiered on RTVE, featuring Ramsés , one of Cook's sons.
In Spain, Labrador Retriever dogs became very well known thanks to the advertisement of a well-known brand of toilet paper and many people wanted to have one just like it, seeing the adorable puppy playing with the toilet paper all over the house.
If you like police series, you surely remember the protagonist of “ Rex , a different policeman”. This German shepherd (whose real name is Rhett Butler) has been involved in adventures for years alongside the commissioner of the Austrian Homicide Brigade.
We can't stop mentioning Lassie . The first dog that made this pet the protagonist of both series and movies was a Collie (yes, surprisingly it was a male) named Pal, whose descendants have starred in all the Lassie filmings over the years: it is a authentic family saga of dog artists.
Fans of the cult series “Lost” probably remember Vincent , Walt's dog and the only non-human survivor of Oceanic Flight 815.
Stella is one of the protagonists of the Modern Family series: this charming French Bull Dog has been played by two dogs throughout the seasons: Brigitte was the interpreter until the third season, while from the fourth it was Beatrice.
